Herb's Description
Tanacetum parthenium. Perennial, monecious, diploid plant. Cultivated but also found wild in waste lands and along roadsides and wood borders from. Strongly aromatic in all its parts. Round, leafy, branching stems bearing alternate bipinnate leaves with ovate, yellow-green leaflets (stems can be up to 70 cm in height). Flower consists of yellow disks ( composite head) with from 10 to 20 small, white, tooth rays (petals). Flowers in June to late August, or early winter.
